Education America Network (EAN) is the United States' largest and most innovative online job board and resource center for educators and all of the education sector workforce interested in finding the ideal teaching or administrative position. The EAN provides an easy-to-use, free, and flexible tool to locate K-12 and/or academic sector job openings anywhere within the United States.

The EAN provides a reliable means for teachers and education sector personnel to connect with employers who are seeking highly qualified employees.

The following information outlines the services and benefits the Education America Network provides to all EAN site visitors for absolutely NO COST.

Job Seeker Services

Education America Network provides access via the EAN website to services, which require no registration or login, while other areas within the website require job seekers to register via a quick and confidential process. The services that require registration are directed toward providing employers additional information (applications, resumes, certifications, credentials, etc.) about the candidate. Registration is required to ensure searchable information, which is always available to subscribing employers, is secure and confidential.

Services Available without Registering:

The following services are available to job seekers via the EAN without registration:

  • Browse Jobs
    Quickly and easily browse job opportunities listed by regions and/or states.
  • Search Jobs
    Locate opportunities that match the experience, qualifications, and interests of the job seeker.
  • Research Employers
    Every employer who posts to the EAN provides an information profile about their school and/or district(s), which provides the job seeker with valuable information about the employer. The profile also contains links back to the employer's own web page, so further research can be conducted by the job seeker. In many cases, additional information such as information on the community, who to contact and statistics are also included in the profile and/or on the employer�s web page.
  • Browse Career & Other Professional Resources
    Via Education America Network's Resource Center, users can find valuable resume and interview tips, salary information, teacher certification contacts and other useful resources.
Registered Services:

The following services are accessible to individuals registered with the EAN. There is absolutely NO COST register or use the following services:

  • Apply to Jobs
    Once registered job seekers can then access the details on how to apply to jobs posted, e.g. required documentation, where/how to submit documentation, qualifications needed to apply
  • Resume Upload
    Job Seekers can upload their own resume documents or fill out EAN's form resume. This resume will then be made available to subscribing employers to search and view.
  • Educator E-Portfolio
    In order to create a better picture of a job seeker's credentials, registered applicants can create a personal electronic portfolio, which is also searchable by employers. The portfolio is automatically attached to any jobs to which the candidate applies online.
  • Cover Letter Upload
    To ensure registered job seekers can submit a complete application package to employers; they can upload their own cover letter(s) to attach to any application via EAN's "Apply Online" function.
  • Other Document Upload
    Registered applicants can provide employers additional information/documentation by uploading up to 10 required or supporting documents to their application. Documentation frequently uploaded includes scanned copies of a job seeker's registration documents, transcripts, university degrees, reference letters, work study reports, criminal records checks, etc ...
  • JobBot Notification
    By registering, job seekers can create a "jobbot". A jobbot is an email notification system whereby job seekers can select the type of job they are looking for and when new jobs that meet the selected criteria are added to EAN's database, job seekers will receive an email listing the new jobs.
  • Bookmark Employers
    Job seekers can save an employer's profile and job opportunities with a simple click. Once saved, a job seeker can regularly monitor any new jobs posted by that school, district, or state.
  • E-Newsletters & Publications
    Upon registering with EAN, job seekers can sign-up for informative electronic newsletters. These publications provide valuable information on EAN's services, resources, and employment opportunities. These are opt-in newsletters.
