Details: Durham Public Schools are accepting applications for the following position(s): Director of Student Support Services Location: Specialized Services Date Available: Immediately Position Number: 270002 Position Term: 12 Months Salary Range: State Salary Scale Additional Information: SUMMARY: The Director of Student Support and Intervention provides leadership within the District Area Model to all Student Support Services personnel, services and programming. MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS: - Masters Degree in Education Administration or Leadership or equivalent Principal License preferred. - Five (5) years or more experience in a leadership role in a school or organization; secondary experience preferred. - Demonstrated mastery of 21st C technology skills: Google, Microsoft Office, Twitter, Facebooks, etc. - Demonstrated experience of successfully working within a culturally diverse setting. - Demonstrated experience of leading a highly effective team.
