The Kyrene School District has chosen to focus on four goals as a part of our five-year Strategic Plan.
Student Achievement: All students excel academically, with a primary focus on reading, writing and mathematics.
Safe Schools: Students, staff, parents and community members feel safe and are safe in all Kyrene schools at all times.
Employee Relations: Employees feel attracted to membership in the organization; they want to stay with it, be influenced by it and exert their own influence in the achievement of the District’s mission and goals.
Education of Choice: In an atmosphere of educational alternatives, Kyrene schools will be the premier provider of educational services in the East Valley.
The Kyrene District provides exemplary educational programs that meet the needs of diverse communities in preschool through 8th grade. We have high expectations and the belief that all students can learn and all students can succeed. As a district, we have chosen to focus on individual student needs, challenging and supporting each student at his or her own level of ability.
A positive, nurturing climate in our schools is a significant factor in student learning. Students are treated with respect, and parents are recognized as valuable partners in the learning process. Although families are diverse in culture, language, and needs, they share the school’s commitment to provide optimum learning for students. Kyrene School District is a publicly funded organization Enrollment: 2000 No. of Schools: 25
