Details: Gilbert Public Schools invites applications for the following position: Dean of Students Location: Highland Junior High School Date Available: Immediate Purpose Statement: Under the supervision of the Principal, the Dean of Students serves as an instrumental leader in the planning, coordination, and administration of school activities and programs, including curriculum, instruction, assessment, student conduct and attendance, athletics and extracurricular activities, school plant operations, and the supervision and evaluation of assigned personnel. This position plays a critical role as a data analysis leader. Minimum Qualifications: Arizona teaching certificate required 3 years of successful teaching experience required Administrative license preferred 24 credits of graduate administrative coursework, including a course in Supervision of Instruction Education: Master’s degree from an accredited educational institution. 24 credits of graduate administrative coursework, including a course in Supervision of Instruction. Experience: 3 years successful teaching experience required Certificates & Licenses: Arizona teaching certificate required. Arizona Standard Professional Principal Certificate. Must possess a valid Arizona DPS Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card while employed.
