Tech Ed Teacher (Early Start Calendar)

Location: Bradley Tech and Trade

Regular/Temporary: Regular

Job Summary:
A Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) teacher provides an instructional program for regular and special education students which is appropriate to their educational needs and developmental level. The educational program is offered in an equitable, multi-cultural setting and teaches all children to think deeply, critically and creatively. The teacher's work supports the MPS strategic plan.

The content for this assignment is: Construction, General Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, Masonry

Qualifications:
Applicants must be licensed (1235-Trade Specialist Permit) by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instructions to teach this specific grade level and/or content area or have the ability to apply for this license soon after hire.

Candidate Profile:
- Completed an apprenticeship programn and 3 additional years of occupational experience in a particular trade; or
- Completed 4 years of institutional training in a trade area; or
- Certified by the technical college system board to teach an industrial arts or similar subject
