To provide safe and rigorous education experiences that motivate all students to excel in learning and life.
The Allentown School District is a Work in Progress. ASD staff and faculty seek to create the positive teaching conditions that will strengthen the learning process for all of our students. Each of our 22 schools were reviewed this past year as a part of a long-range plan to improve our school facilities. This plan is currently being studied by the ASD Board of Directors, and you will be hearing more about this plan after the Board has completed its discussion.
In order to continue our work in improving student achievement, we will also be embarking on a strategic plan this year, a plan that sets a bold direction through the year 2011. Look forward to learning more of this plan throughout the year, and please remember that success is attained when we all work together to make a difference for our students.
