North College Hill City Schools instructional programs are designed to meet the needs of the individual student. The district has two K-6 elementary schools, Becker and Clovernook, and one K-3 elementary school, Goodman.
Teacher student ratios are 1:23. In addition to classroom teachers, specialists are employed in music, physical education, art, and critical reading needs. Each building has access to a media specialist, school psychologist, school nurse and educational aides.
Junior high school programs are designed to transition students in grades 7-8 from elementary to high school. 7th and 8th grade classrooms are departmentalized, however, teaching teams are organized at each grade level to better address junior high school age student needs. The curriculum is an extension of elementary instruction, emphasizing strong basic skills necessary for high school programs.
North College Hill High School offers a wide variety of courses at the base school for students in grades 9-12. Over sixty courses cover a full range of instruction, including advanced placement classes at junior and senior levels.Over seventy-five percent of the students also participate in numerous academic, athletic, dramatic and musical extracurricular activities.
