The Jersey City Community Charter School (JCCCS) is in its fourteenth year of implementation. The school has undergone a change in leadership. Beginning in August, 2011, Mr. Eugene W. Harris has assumed the responsibility as the new Chief School Administrator. The school has successfully completed a second five-year renewal in 2010. The school currently provides early childhood, elementary and middle school services to 594 kindergarten through eighth grade students and their families. The school’s program has two divisions: the elementary division and the middle school division. The program has attempted to provide a holistic education to its students by addressing the needs of the whole child, cognitively, intellectually, socially, physically and emotionally.
