The Norfolk Public School is a comprehensive school system offering education to students in kindergarten through twelfth grade as well as others identified with special needs. The school district is located in the community of Norfolk, a city of over 24,000 citizens in the heart of the Elkhorn Valley in northeast Nebraska. NPS includes nine elementary schools, middle school, junior high, senior high, learning center, and Early Childhood Center which are committed to a common mission of equipping all students to succeed in a complex changing world.
Quality education begins with a quality staff and the Norfolk Public Schools is proud of the energy, creativity, and caring displayed by our people. The district employs approximately 500 staff members including administrators, teachers, clerical staff, maintenance/custodians, food service personnel, and paraprofessionals. Likewise, the Norfolk District is proud of the quality educational services provided our youth. These outstanding programs are possible only through the involvement and cooperation of parents, volunteers, local business/industry personnel, service and fraternal clubs, and other patrons of our community.
