The mission of Fremont Public Schools is to produce creative, adaptable, productive citizens committed to life-long learning. Fremont Public Schools has a proud history of high achievement through hard work. The staff, students, parents, and community have high expectations. The students consistently perform above the state and national averages on the ACT test and above grade level on standardized tests. Fremont Public School's has established standards for language arts and math that have been identified by the Nebraska State School Board as equal to or more rigorous than the Nebraska State Standards. As additional standards are established, it is our goal to continue to develop highly rigorous standards of learning. Student achievement of the standards is being measured at all grade levels and in all courses.
Fremont Public Schools has one high school, one middle school, and seven elementary schools. The North Central Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges' highest recognitions, "AA" accreditation, has been awarded by the Nebraska Department of Education to Fremont High School and Middle School.
