West Bladen High School is one of two high schools in Bladen County. We are a rural school constructed in 2002 merging Tarheel High School and Bladenboro High School into a larger school, serving the western half of the county. We are ideally located within 45 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean and within 4 hours from the Blue Ridge Mountains. We are located about 30 minutes East of Fayetteville roughly 1 mile South of Dublin and Hwy 87. Bladen County is proud to be the home of the safest beach in America, White Lake, which draws thousands of tourist annually. Bladen is a recreational paradise, with outstanding swimming, fishing, boating, water skiing, jet skiing, golfing, and hunting.
