The Orleans Parish Teaching Fellows is a highly selective program that is mobilizing talented, high achieving certified educators to teach in the city of New Orleans. These teachers will be part of a dedicated cadre of fellow teachers who will bring their knowledge, experience, and energy to the city to ensure that all of their students excel.
Benefits of the program include a fast-track application process with quick response to your inquiries, an intensive paid pre-service training with an emphasis on being a successful teacher in Orleans Parish Public Schools, a network of support, and opportunities to meet with principals.
As the areas of greatest need in Orleans Parish are Math, Science, Special Ed and Middle Grades, priority will be given to candidates in these areas.
Accepted applicants will secure a guaranteed position with Orleans Parish as early as March 2005.
