Christian County Public Schools offer a wide range of services to meet the needs of all our approximately 9000 students. The school system's goal is to provide a quality education for each child.
There are eleven elementary schools, three middle schools, and two high schools in Christian County. All of our schools are accredited by the state of Kentucky and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
In addition to the traditional educational settings, programs are offered at a career & technical center, a day treatment center, an alternative school, a preschool center, an optional high school, and an Adult Education Center.
The school system strives to provide programs for the college-bound student and for the student who plans to enter the work force upon high school graduation.
Co-curricular programs provide additional opportunities for students to develop skills through athletic, cultural, and community service activities. These programs include varsity sports, academic teams, vocal and instrumental music groups, speech and debate teams, Junior ROTC, Career & Technical Student Leadership Organizations, and many special interest clubs.
