With 23 school facilities (12 elementary, 6 middle 4 high schools, and 1 Area Technology Center), educational services are provided to over 12,000 students. Education services are also offered through the Bullitt County Day Treatment Center and the Bullitt County Area Technology Center. There are over 750 certified and 600 classified employees meeting the needs of the student population. Despite its proximity to Louisville, Bullitt County retains a rural atmosphere which makes it an inviting place for parents to raise a family.
