The Carroll County Public Schools are located in the scenic community of Carrollton, Kentucky on I-71 between Louisville and Cincinnati. Carroll County Public Schools serve 1750 pre-school-12th grade students with a certified faculty of one hundred thirty. The schools are divided by grade level with Kathryn Winn Primary serving Kindergarten through P-4 students; Cartmell Elementary serving pre-school and 4th and 5th grade students; Carroll County Middle School serving 6th through 8th grade students; Carroll County High School serving 9th through 12th.
The Carroll County Schools are committed "through the engagement of the home and community to prepare every student for success in a changing world". To accomplish this goal, each school has designed programs to meet the academic, emotional, and citizenship needs of every student. Caring professionals work daily to enable students to learn the core academic concepts in communication, science, mathematics, social studies, and the arts. We believe that the Carroll County Schools are responsive to the students, the parents, and the community.
