Details: Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202 is seeking qualified applicants for the following position(s): TBE Teacher Location: John F. Kennedy Middle School Salary: Initial placement shall be made by the Board or the Board designee pursuant to the APT Negotiated Agreement Hours: Full time - 9 months Monday - Friday Description: - Experience working with ELL students/families preferred - Fluent in Spanish - Strong communication and advocacy skills preferred - Ability to integrate curriculum with Common Core standards - Ability to instruct bilingual students in English and Spanish - Have a solid understanding of second language instruction - Willingness to learn new strategies - Team player - Ability to work as part of a professional learning community - Ability to establish positive working relationships with students, parents and staff Qualifications: - State of Illinois Professional Educator License registered in Will County - Transitional bilingual educator endorsement at the middle school level
