To help all children develop their talents in order that they may become productive citizens.
Located eight miles northeast of the capital city of Des Moines and two miles north of I-80 on Highway 65, Bondurant offers small town living with the close convenience of a major metropolitan area. The school district comprises 85 square miles of northeast Polk County.
The size of the school allows students the individual attention needed to succeed, while providing the advantages of a bigger school. Most grade levels have enrollment in the seventies with three sections at each grade level. Total enrollment is over 900 students with nearly 90 who have open-enrolled from every school district bordering Bondurant-Farrar.
