Partners in Education:
Owned and operated by Imagine Schools, Canoe Creek Charter Academy is on of the newest schools in Osceola County. Built in 2002, our 145,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility accommodates over 600 students in grades K4-8. Located just outside Orlando, FL, Osceola County is one of the fastest growing counties in the U.S. Because of this, we regularly experience the challenges and excitement of an ever-expanding school and school system. Despite this growth, we are very fortunate to be able to maintain an excellent pupil/teacher ratio with very favorable class sizes. Our academy features small class sizes and individual instruction that integrates the most current technology into Imagine Schools proprietary curriculum. Canoe Creek Charter also offers a fee-based before and after school CARE for all students.
We believe parents should decide where their children attend school and play an active role in their education. Most of all, we believe that parents should make the best decision for their child.
Public charter schools are among the leading options for parents. These are public schools that operate outside the traditional public school system and do not have traditional assigned school boundaries. For parents and students, charter schools are schools of choice, selected primarily for educational reasons - high academic standards, limited class sizes, and a different approach to quality education. Charter schools receive funding from the state, just like other public schools, based upon the student attendance. Charter schools are tuition free and non-sectarian.
Finally, you can choose a school that will give your child the personal attention every child needs. At Canoe Creek Charter, all teachers are nationally recruited and share our vision of nurturing the whole child. And their performance, as well as that of the students, is continuously evaluated to ensure that each child achieves his or her personal best.
Canoe Creek’s proprietary curriculum is implemented using Project CHILD, a proven instructional method for bringing out the best in each student. The Project CHILD model provides each child with personalized attention by placing students in a group environment with the same teachers for 3 years. These teachers continuously assess each student’s progress to ensure individual growth and achievement.
Imagine Schools offer:
Smaller classes for more personal attention
More teacher involvement to create a friendly, secure environment
Computers and advanced technological support in every classroom
A proprietary, comprehensive curriculum that integrates best teaching practices
"I am thrilled to be joining the Imagine community in Saint Cloud as the new Canoe Creek school principal."

In the Canoe Creek Charter Academy community, the staff and parents cooperate to create a positive and secure learning environment with high expectations for students' academic and social growth. Through active classroom learning activities and such channels as student council, our students are full participants in the development of their educational experience and environment. During our first school year, students adopted the patriotic colors of red, white and blue with nothing other then the truest patriotic symbol of the bald eagle as our mascot.
At CCCA, we are extremely fortunate to have active and involved parents, as well as the community. Our dedicated PTO organizes the parent volunteer program and provides many other services and support for the school. Our partners in Education and friends in the local business community also lend their support regularly. We believe that the involvement of parents and other community members for Canoe Creek Charter Academy is an important element in providing an excellent education for our students. The responsibility for ensuring that our children are prepared for the future is one that must be shared. We welcome volunteers to assist in the school. Friends in the business community who want to be involved are invited to participate in the Partners in Education program. For information about becoming involved with the Canoe Creek Charter family, we welcome your call and/or visit to our school.
