We are pleased to welcome you to our school district and present information of use to students, parents, community members, and employees. We hope we have captured the excitement of student learning and quality relationships that characterize our District.

Springtime in Alaska - snow, mud and light! While one day it is warm and sunny, the next is cold and wintry and one feels caught “in between.” During the School District year, the same happens. We complete standardized testing for students, wrap up cumulative class projects, and plan for graduation, while at the same time we are writing school improvement plans and grants for next year. The pace is frenzied, the needs many, the uncertainties regarding the future large. But somehow, every day in every classroom, the work we love to do gets done. Our students continue their high achievement; our staff continues to be recognized with awards; and parents and community members continue to support our events. It's a beautiful thing, but, as we all await our gorgeous Alaska summer, let's not lose sight of the wonder of living in the moment.
